The Child Abuse Prevention Center (The CAP Center) invites you to join us for “Inspirations 2009, Jewels on J.” This is a very special dinner event in which we will recognize extraordinary champions of children and step back into the “roaring twenties” for a swell time! CBS 13 main anchors Pallas Hupé and Sam Shane will come back for their fourth year as emcees.

Sponsorship includes a cocktail reception that begins at 6:30 p.m., dinner and the event program, with an exclusive after-hours party to follow for the top sponsors with dancing to a live swing band. For sponsorship information click here.

Inspirations Highlights:

Guests will be swept up in the roaring twenties upon arrival when they see an amazing display of classic cars courtesy of Neillo and the Honorable Talmadge and Mrs. Jones.

Newman Valet will be available. Guests will be greeted by Mark S. Allen of CW 31.

Breathtaking table-top displays created for this celebration by Bloem Décor and other top designers.

A savory main course will be prepared by some of the region’s top chefs that include Patrick Mulvaney, Michael Touhy and Randall Selland, with decadent desserts by Nicole Brecker of Ambrosia.

A live auction that will feature one-of-a-kind auction items including a private flight for eight to Monterey and a Victrola Pre-Prohibition liquor cabinet with three hundred collector records valued at $45,000.

The after-hours party will follow and top sponsors and their guests will be whisked away to The Citizen Hotel for dancing, drinks and light appetizers.
