Big Day of Giving

The Child Abuse Prevention Center is a statewide service, training, advocacy, and resource center dedicated to strengthening children, families, and communities. Our mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect. We accomplish this by: implementing evidence-based practices and programs, collaborating with multi-disciplinary partners, providing training and technical assistance to build capacity, advocating for policies to strengthen children, families, and communities.

Thank you for considering making a donation to The Child Abuse Prevention Center! You can help us continue the important work we do. Your donation can keep a child safe and spare them from trauma. We are grateful for any donation; your dollars can make a difference as follows.

Where the money goes:

·   $25 will provide a sleep sack for a baby

·   $50 will provide a box of 200 diapers

·   $60 will provide a crib for a family that cannot purchase one for a new baby

·   $100 will provide 1 hour of one-on-one life skills training for a foster youth

·   $250 will provide healthy meals for 20 pregnant moms attending an infant safe sleep class

·   $1,000 will provide prevention services to 15 families for one month

Research has revealed that as little as 8 hours of one-on-one family support in the home is enough to keep them out of the child welfare system.

For the life of a child, please make an online donation safely and securely through our Big Day of Giving profile.
